We have just wrapped up our second Pho3nix Kids Triathlon of the season two weekends ago and what a cracking event it was. The upcoming third race of the series is on 28 May 2022 at Pattana Sports Resort and the venue is an absolute gem made for triathlon. The swim will take place in Pattana’s new 50m pool with the bike and run contested within the resort. A sell out is expected for this event so make sure you sign up before it’s too late.
Pho3nix Kids Learn to Swim program participants to take part in their first ever triathlon
Pattana Sports Resort is not only the host venue for the Pho3nix Kids Triathlon but has also been running the Pho3nix Kids Learn to Swim program for fifty children from the local community since February as part of the Pho3nix Kids educational program. The 12-week program will conclude in race week and all kids from the Pho3nix Kids Learn to Swim will now participate in their first triathlon putting their newly acquired swimming skills to the test in a race environment. 4-time triathlon world champion and Pho3nix Foundation board member Chris “Macca” McCormack got in the pool for the launch of the program in February for some hands on teaching.
